Is Rose Lane makeup vegan?
All Rose Lane makeup is vegan. The founder of Rose Lane has been a vegetarian from a young age. Rose Lane products do not contain any animal-derived ingredients (no cochineal for carmine, no beeswax, no cartilage, no animal fat, no silk from silkworms, etc.). Why use animal-derived actives when we can clearly do without them?! There are many vegan alternatives, and Rose Lane Paris is here to show you that! Additionally, none of our products are tested on animals.
Do you use carmine pigment derived from cochineals?
No, and never! All our products are vegan. We use a synthetic red pigment to achieve a beautiful red color. The perfect red!
Are the products NOT tested on animals?
None of our products are tested on animals. We use known ingredients, whose safety is established and approved by regulations. Before marketing, each product placed on the market is evaluated by a toxicologist expert and subjected to safety tests.
Where are the products made?
All Rose Lane makeup is designed, formulated, and made in France, with all the testing and commitments that this entails. The Rose Lane Paris team is very proud of this!
How long can the product be kept?
Once the tube is opened:
Mascara: 6 months
Lipstick: 18 months
Multi-Blush Cream: 18 months
If you haven't opened your tube, you can keep it at room temperature:
Mascara: 18 months
Lipstick: 3 years
Multi-Blush Cream: 3 years
Is Rose Lane makeup clean/healthy?
Rose Lane products are enriched with plant-based ingredients like shea butter, castor oil, cornflower water, candelilla wax, vitamin E, which respect your skin throughout the day. Our products are healthy, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in France. Rose Lane makeup does not contain controversial ingredients. Rose Lane products are over 95% natural origin. You will not find parabens, phenoxyethanol, nanoparticles, without silicones, without PEGs and PPGs. No animal-derived products: beeswax, carmine, lanolin, etc.
Does Rose Lane makeup contain essential oils?
No, none.
Is the fragrance used in Rose Lane lipstick natural?
Our fragrance is of natural origin.
Where should the Rose Lane shipping box be discarded?
The Rose Lane shipping box is made in France, from cardboard, with an eco-responsible partner. The box is 100% recyclable. It should be placed in the yellow recycling bin.
